Availability of Low-Interest Physical Loss Loans for Producers Affected by Natural Disasters

Physical loss loans can help producers repair or replace damaged or destroyed physical property essential to the success of the agricultural operation, including livestock losses. Examples of property commonly affected include essential farm buildings, fixtures to real estate, equipment, livestock, perennial crops, fruit and nut bearing trees and harvested or stored crops and hay.

Triggering Disaster Event #1: Tornado, excessive rain, hail and high winds that occurred June 10, 2021.

Application Deadline: April 11, 2022

Primary County Eligible: Richland

Contiguous Counties also Eligible:

Montana: Dawson, McCone, Roosevelt and Wibaux

North Dakota: McKenzie and Williams

Triggering Disaster Event #2: Wildfire that occurred July 9, 2021 through July 23, 2021.

Application Deadline: April 6, 2022

Primary County Eligible: Musselshell

Contiguous Counties also Eligible:

Montana: Fergus, Golden Valley, Petroleum, Rosebud and Yellowstone
