Presidential Tribal Disaster Declaration M4681

On December 30, 2022, President Joe Biden, under 7 CFR 759.5(a), designated one (1) Arizona Indian Tribal Community as a primary disaster area due to flooding during the period of October 1 to October 2, 2022. This designation makes farm operators in primary counties, and those counties contiguous to such primary counties, eligible to be considered for certain assistance from FSA, provided eligibility requirements are met.  This assistance includes FSA emergency loans.  Farmers in eligible counties have eight (8) months to apply for emergency loans.  FSA considers each emergency loan application on its own merits, taking into account the extent of losses on the farm and the security and repayment ability of the operator.

Applications for emergency loans will be received through September 30, 2023.

Secretarial Natural Disaster Determination S5371

On March 17, 2023, Secretary of Agriculture, Thomas J. Vilsack, under 7 CFR 759.5(a), designated 54 California counties as a primary disaster area due to drought intensity value during the growing season of 1) D2 Drought-Severe for 8 or more consecutive weeks or 2) D3 Drought-Extreme or D4 Drought-Exceptional. This designation makes farm operators in primary counties, and those counties contiguous to such primary counties, eligible to be considered for certain assistance from FSA, provided eligibility requirements are met.  This assistance includes FSA emergency loans.  Farmers in eligible counties have eight (8) months to apply for emergency loans.  FSA considers each emergency loan application on its own merits, taking into account the extent of losses on the farm and the security and repayment ability of the operator.

Applications for emergency loans will be received through November 17, 2023.

Presidential Major Tribal Disaster Determination M4703

On April 11, 2023, President Joe Biden, under 7 CFR 759, designated one (1) Arizona Indian Tribal Community as a primary disaster area due to severe winter storms and flooding during the period of January 14 to January 17, 2023.

This designation makes farm operators in primary counties, and those counties contiguous to such primary counties, eligible to be considered for certain assistance from FSA, provided eligibility requirements are met.  This assistance includes FSA emergency loans.  Farmers in eligible counties have eight (8) months to apply for emergency loans.  FSA considers each emergency loan application on its own merits, taking into account the extent of losses on the farm and the security and repayment ability of the operator.

Applications for emergency loans will be received through December 18, 2023.

Presidential Major Disaster Declaration M4699, Amendment 1

On April 3, 2023, President Joe Biden, under 7 CFR 759, designated nine (9) California counties as primary disaster areas due to severe winter storms, straight line winds, flooding, landslides, and mudslides beginning on February 21, 2023, and continuing, under major disaster declaration for the State of California (M4699).

This Notice is an amendment M4699.  The amendment was issued April 14, 2023.  The notice of a major disaster declaration was amended to designate seven (7) California counties as primary disaster areas.

This designation makes farm operators in primary counties, and those counties contiguous to such primary counties, eligible to be considered for certain assistance from FSA, provided eligibility requirements are met.  This assistance includes FSA emergency loans.  Farmers in eligible counties have eight (8) months to apply for emergency loans.  FSA considers each emergency loan application on its own merits, taking into account the extent of losses on the farm and the security and repayment ability of the operator.

Applications for emergency loans will be received through December 14, 2023.

Vilsack, under 7 CFR 759.5(a), designated two (2) Arizona counties as a primary disaster area due to drought intensity value during the growing season of 1) D2 Drought-Severe for 8 or more consecutive weeks or 2) D3 Drought-Extreme or D4 Drought-Exceptional.

This designation makes farm operators in primary counties, and those counties contiguous to such primary counties, eligible to be considered for certain assistance from FSA, provided eligibility requirements are met.  This assistance includes FSA emergency loans.  Farmers in eligible counties have eight (8) months to apply for emergency loans.  FSA considers each emergency loan application on its own merits, taking into account the extent of losses on the farm and the security and repayment ability of the operator.

The incident period for production and physical losses in the counties named below is January 1, 2023.

For the purpose of determining loan security values for loan applications, the beginning date of the incident period is January 1, 2023.

Applications for emergency loans will be received through November 17, 2023.

On April 27, 2023, President Joe Biden, under 7 CFR 759, designated six (6) Nevada counties as primary disaster areas due to damage resulting from severe winter storms, flooding, landslides, and mudslides during the period of March 8 to March 19, 2023.

This designation makes farm operators in primary counties, and those counties contiguous to such primary counties, eligible to be considered for certain assistance from FSA, provided eligibility requirements are met. This assistance includes FSA emergency loans. Farmers in eligible counties have eight (8) months to apply for emergency loans. FSA considers each emergency loan application on its own merits, taking into account the extent of losses on the farm and the security and repayment ability of the operator.

Applications for emergency loans will be received through December 27, 2023.

Arizona Contiguous County (1): Mohave

On March 17, 2023, Secretary of Agriculture, Thomas J. Vilsack, under 7 CFR 759.5(a), designated 16 New Mexico counties as a primary disaster area due to drought intensity value during the growing season of 1) D2 Drought-Severe for 8 or more consecutive weeks or 2) D3 Drought-Extreme or D4 Drought-Exceptional.

This designation makes farm operators in primary counties, and those counties contiguous to such primary counties, eligible to be considered for certain assistance from FSA, provided eligibility requirements are met. This assistance includes FSA emergency loans. Farmers in eligible counties have eight (8) months to apply for emergency loans. FSA considers each emergency loan application on its own merits, taking into account the extent of losses on the farm and the security and repayment ability of the operator.

This designation makes farm operators in primary counties, and those counties contiguous to such primary counties, eligible to be considered for certain assistance from FSA, provided eligibility requirements are met. This assistance includes FSA emergency loans. Farmers in eligible counties have eight (8) months to apply for emergency loans. FSA considers each emergency loan application on its own merits, taking into account the extent of losses on the farm and the security and repayment ability of the operator.

Applications for emergency loans will be received through May 13, 2024.
